Tier 8’s public sector client wished to have a small team trained up in utilizing Power BI for business intelligence and data analytics. A curriculum was assembled and delivered with the following Power BI topics:

• Power BI Desktop Overview

• Connecting and Shaping Data

• Data Models

• Analyzing Data with DAX

• Visualizing Data

The training series was delivered in 5 parts throughout a 3 week period. A fictional data source was utilized for the course though the organization’s real data sources (Microsoft DataVerse, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL) were also used as examples post training.
